NELEMR/Laconia Bike Week June 14, 2008
Are you an ADIRONDACK HARD CHARGER ?

It's a sunny 30* day out in April, the road has just been cleared from
last nights 16" snow storm and you think to yourself .... I could ride
today...It's not that bad......then actually do it.

You consider a 100 mile ride "Just going down the road into town".

You leave the house in full leathers, three pairs of gloves and a
face mask .....come home an hour later in a t-shirt.

Have hit or avoided one or more of the following in a single ride-
Fox, turkey, raccoon, coyote, deer, bear or rabbit.

Drive five hours to go on a three hour ride for a good cause and
then drive home.

The ADIRONDACK chapter is looking for quality over quantity. As a
professional in your field you should understand and appreciate
how precious time off is. If long rides, bad weather and good times
don't scare you..... If you understand what we do, the importance of
sticking together.... the philosophy of a brotherhood and knowing
that what happens between brothers stays between brothers and if
you want to enjoy your hobby / passion of cycling while doing good,
raising awareness and raising funds for community
causes........Then......... the ADIRONDACK chapter would like to invite
you to learn more.

Thank you for visiting,

Ride hard, ride safe,

Run To the Hills     08/01/08-08/03/08

Just wanted to take a moment to thank Willie, Mountain Man and
Sandman for making the run up to the North Country. They rode 300+
miles. After meeting them for the last 100 miles  (30 of which was a wash
out) we arrived at the cabin for a hot meal.....  Although the weather was a
bit unpredictable we managed to take in a couple of rides, saw the
Northern edge of the Adirondack Park, Saranac Lake, met up with Rambo,
walked, snacked and got a few beverages in Lake Placid.  Saturday night
was a hang around, BBQ then up to the Fair to take in the locals and some
Demo Derby action (Lets not forget a carmel apple and harassment of
some carnies) Lots of laughs. ....Sunday was a big breakfast out and
goodbye. A special thanks to Cookie for all her hospitality and hard work
behind the scenes.  We hope to give allot more notice next year and turn
this into a premier event. Till next year....Happy 2nd Anniversary HCMC!
